In 2004, Susan Werremeyer created carlton | werremeyer to help fill a void in the non-profit planning realm and hasn't stopped planning since. Susan previously worked with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and was the Director of Development and Communications for the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.
To further help event planners, Susan created the newly launched website,Event Hive, which has free and paid resources conceived by planners who understand what works to execute seamless and memorable events. The goal is to encourage, mentor, and nurture each other by sharing tried and true template materials. When planners secure the resources and support they need, they're best equipped to elevate their events and inspire the next generation of starry eyed wanna-be-planners. Bottom line, Event Hive aspires to make the life of a worker bee...smooth as honey.
The St. Louis Business Journal selected Susan as one of their "40 Under 40" for 2009.
